In our studio in Root D4, all pictures areprinted on high-quality photo paper and mounted on a 2 mm thick aluminium composite panel (Alu-Dibond). We recommend that you have your picture on aluminium dibond laminated by us to protect it from moisture, UV light, dirt and scratches. The laminated picture has a longer service life and can also be gently cleaned.

The matt, structureless laminate reduces reflections. The glossy laminate impresses with its vibrant colours and has a slight texture on the surface. We highly recommend using a laminate to ensure a long service life and enjoyment of the picture.

With a shadow gap frame made of real wood, every Dibond picture looks even more elegant and has a finished look.

The dibond pictures each have a 5 mm wide and 6 mm deep shadow gap. The shadow gap frame itself has an external height of 2 cm. For smaller pictures, you do not need to select an additional mounting. We mount small metal hangers in the corners. For larger pictures, it is essential to select a suspension such as a rail (up to 60 cm) or a blind frame (from 60 cm).

The wood used for the mouldings of our shadow gap profiles comes from sustainably managed European forests. The mouldings are manufactured and finished in Switzerland. In our factory, the mouldings are cut to size and assembled by hand into a shadow gap frame and screwed to the dibond picture.

For large formats, we recommend the stable and professional version of the blind frame. A blind frame consists of an aluminium profile and is attached to the back and fitted with additional hangers. The all-round blind frame, offset approx. 10 cm inwards, gives your picture additional stability. This means that even large pictures can be hung effortlessly and without worry. This blind frame is not visible from the front and has a depth of 8 mm on the back. This gives your dibond picture an additional depth effect.

Required from 60 x 60 cm!

This aluminium hanging rail can be used for small and medium formats and is attached to the top of the back wall of the Dibond picture. The spacers at the bottom allow the picture to hang vertically on the wall.

This mounting allows you to achieve an elegant distance of 8 mm from the wall. This gives you additional depth.

Practical "hangers" which can be fixed to the hanging rail are included. This allows you to hang your favourite picture securely on the wall.

Generally recommended from 20 x 20 cm to 60 x 60 cm!

Printolino - Quality

We carefully check all data free of charge before printing. All products are then printed on high-quality photo paper or canvas using a colour management system calibrated by our specialists and modern plotters in a 12-colour printing process with solvent-free pigment ink. We can further refine the prints as required. For example, the images can also be laminated on inexpensive materials such as Forex and, depending on the area of application, additionally laminated with a glossy or matt finish.

Dispatch and collection

The finished product of the Alu-Dibond pictures is packed well protected and delivered to your home by Swiss Post. This means you can look forward to your new Alu-Dibond picture after a short production time. You can also collect your picture directly from us at the Technopark Lucerne in Root D4.
