Gerne geben wir Ihnen nach diesen Eindrücken etwas Theorie mit auf den Weg und erzählen Ihnen etwas zur Theorie von Colormanagement und Farbräumen. Hinzu kommen einige Tipps zur richtigen Kameraeinstellung, resp. der Wahl des Farbraumes. Wir erklären Ihnen die Unterschiede zwischen dem additiven und subtraktiven Farbraum und wo diese zum Einsatz kommen.
SOMETHING ABOUT OUR ONLINE SHOP
In December 2018, printolino was given a new website. We developed this ourselves with programmers and are constantly developing it further. Our sister company posterfish also works with this shop solution. We will show you what this online shop solution can do and how you as a customer can work with it - ordering beautiful pictures is then child's play.
OUR COLOUR MANAGEMENT
Back in our studio, there are still some interesting things to present. For example, we show you prints that we have ordered from competitors and compare them with our prints. Most visitors are always amazed at how differently a picture can be printed. The reasons for this are mostly to be found in the printing process and colour management.
Zum besseren Verständnis zeigen wir nun noch einen von uns durchgeführten Versuch mit 12 Bildern, welche in unserem Atelier auf unterschiedlichen Leinwandmaterialien von verschiedenen Herstellern gedruckt haben.
Sie erkennen dabei Unterschiede, denn jedes Druckmedium verhält sich anders – natürlich auch in Abhängigkeit des verwendeten ICC-Druckprofils.
Wir erklären anschliessend wie wir die ICC-Druckprofile – für jedes von uns verwendete Druckmedium – selber schreiben und warum eine regelmässige Kontrolle dieser Profile so wichtig ist.
Dabei dürfen Sie selbst zum Zuschauer werden, wie unser Barbieri-Farbmessgerät (Spectrofotometer) Farben einliest und wir danach mit diesen Daten ein neues ICC-Profil generieren.
At the same time, you will also learn something about how a RIP works (Raster Image Processor) and why this is crucial for good quality and we also briefly explain the advantages of monitor calibration.
You will learn how we have implemented colour management in our company, what we offer you and why this is important. Don't worry, we can explain this somewhat theory-heavy block to you in just a few minutes using good examples.
Colour management also includes colour temperature, colour perception and metamerism - we also show examples of these topics.
So that you can finally see how our 12-colour digital printer you can take part in a live test print.
SOMETHING ELSE INTERESTING
If you are also interested in how to laminate an acrylic glass picture or a print on aluminium dibond or how our sister company posterfish prints a mug, we will of course be happy to show you these topics too. We can adapt the programme to suit your individual needs.
BEFORE THE JOURNEY HOME
At the end of the company tour at printolino, we offer a small aperitif and take this opportunity to clarify any unanswered questions and simply let the evening draw to a close.
Finally, we will be happy to give you our sample fan of our print media, brochures and any product samples to take home with you.
